ABOUT US
Foothills Environmental & Safety Control is a family owned and operated company whose purpose is to provide your home or office with a healthy and safe environment. Whether it be mold, moisture, radon, crawlspace, insulation or foundation issues Robert and his crew are specialists in these areas. Foothills Environmental & Safety Control began in Robert’s hometown of Tryon, NC, and after years of working in western NC, the upstate and midlands areas of SC, the company has now expanded operations to include the Lowcountry of SC. The Western NC location is now owned and operated by Lash Brock, Robert's son.
Robert has earned several distinctions, including “Indoor Air Quality Specialist” by National Radon Defense & Basement Systems, Certified nationally by the Environmental Health Association for Radon Testing & Mitigation in both North & South Carolina. Foothills Environmental & Safety Control is also able to provide expert mold remediation, moisture control & dehumidification for interior and/or crawlspace needs.
Robert is a member of AARST (American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists, Inc.) and maintains his IAQA certification. He attends frequent seminars & training to keep abreast of new and alternative products/techniques. Foothills Environmental & Safety Control advocates community involvement as well as maintaining professional associations and continuing education.
